The pet must receive an EXTERNAL ANTI-PARASITE application (against fleas, ticks, lice, mites, and flying insects) 48 Hours before check-in. The pet’s nails must be trimmed short to avoid nail splitting during the play. All pets must be in perfect health state, free of any symptoms of coughing, diarrhea, vomitting and pain. No infectious disease within 30 days before the check-in. Safety Best Friends Palace DOES NOT ACCEPT PETS WITH ANY RECENT OR PREVIOUS PET AND HUMAN AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIORS. If a pet exhibits either pet and human aggressive tendencies, bites, it will be separated from the group immediately and be picked up by the Emergency contact person on the same day. The pet owner is responsible to pay for the vet bills and damage caused to other pets and/or humans. Best Friends Palace does not accept pets with resource protection behaviour towards food, toys and all other items. Best Friends Palace does not accept above 12 month old uncastrated male dogs. Best Friends Palace does not accept female dogs in heat. The dog in heat must be picked up by the emergency contact person on the same day. Best Friends Palace does not take any responsibility for the female on heat from covering. Best Friends Palace does not accept excessive humping, excessive barking, fence climbing, escaping, overly destructive behaviors. If a pet becomes impossible to control at any time, it must be picked up by the emergency contact person on the same day. The pet owner is responsible to pay for all the damages his/her pets made at Best Friends Palace. Emergency Pick-up person : Emergency Pick-up person number : Best Friends Palace does not accept dogs and certain breeds with high prey-drive. Best Friends Palace does not accept senior pets (above 10 years old), the safest option is to have someone home-sitting. The pet owner acknowledges the inherent injury risks associated with animal nature that dogs and cats play with their mouth and paws, and are unpredictable in movements, which may result in nicks, cuts, puncture wounds, and scratches. The pet owner authorizes pets to play in the recreative area with other pets in the natural environment with trees, rocks, sands, wood, acknowledging above mentioned high injury risks. The pet owner understands that conflict and fight between animals happen despite all the caution, prevention and efforts. Best Friends Palace does not take any responsibility for any accident and/or injury of a pet. Best Friends Palace does not recommend a cage-free environment for the pet owner with a very high level of Anthropomorphism and anxiety for the pet, or one with high expectations that are beyond animal nature and instinct. The pet owner acknowledges that a pet may develop completely new, different, and undesired behaviors at any moment, particularly after changing the environment, especially from being the only pet at home to being within a pack. The vet's prescription and full treatment report are mandatory for giving medications during boarding. The pet owner is responsible for packing their dog food in individual sealed baggies or containers (2 bags per day for adults and 3 bags per day for puppies) Additional charges of 3 CHF/EUR per meal applies for packing to feed. It is also the owner's entire responsibility to prepare higher value canned food or meat if a pet maybe difficult to eat after changing the environment. Best Friends Palace does not take any responsibility for a pet's weight change. Best Friends Palace does not take any responsibility in case of disease of one pet. If a pet becomes ill or appears in any situation where the services of a veterinarian are required, the pet owner agrees to give Best Friends Palace permission to obtain all necessary treatments (including emergency surgery) at the veterinary. The Pet owner is responsible for veterinary bills. Additional charges apply for the transportation and waiting time (EUR 30 per hour). The available veterinarian, clinic, and hospital are separate legal entities responsible for their actions, working, and services. Best Friends Palace does not take any responsibility in case of one pet eats anything on their own. The pet owner acknowledges that increased playing activities and gym programs may result in a lean look and weight loss, so packing a small amount of extra food is highly recommended. The pet owner understands for very sensitive and less social pets, a sudden change of environment may cause diarrhea even last up to a week after the boarding. It is the owner’s responsibility to socialize the pet, and the safest option is to have someone home-sitting. The pet must wear a collar. In the unfortunate event of a pet’s death, Best Friends Palace will notify the pet owner or the emergency contact immediately. Best Friends Palace reserves the right to refuse pets that are in frail health or decompensating from either their age or health condition(including but not limited to chronic pain, cannot get around, refusing to eat, severely stressed being with other pets, etc). Best Friends Palace will give an anti-parasite medical bath and drop-on external treatment to the pet with live parasites. The pet owner agrees to pay the fees, and in serve cases, the pet owner agrees to pay for cleaning and disinfecting the whole facility. All personal items(beddings, toys, bowls, etc) must be dish and machine washable, high temperature drying safe, and resist daily disinfection products. Best Friends Palace is not responsible for damage or loss of personal items, nor responsible for pet injuries and accidents caused by personal items. The hair brushing service included in the DELUXE, ROYAL, and SUPREME boarding packages does not include de-matting PRE-EXISTING matted hair. General ZERO tolerance for abuse and disrespect. Best Friends Palace reserves the right to suspend or terminate any service at our sole discretion at any time without prior notice. Check-in is by APPOINTMENT only: every day from 9 a.m. to 16:30 p.m. Check-out is by APPOINTMENT only: every day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Additional daycare charge( CHF/€ 40) applies to late check-out from 12 p.m. to 16:30 p.m. Payment Term: Full payment in advance by bank transfer before the check-in, or by cash at the check-in. Boarding is charged based on the night, and Daycare charges are based on per day. The shuttle service is NOT AVAILABLE UPON REQUESTS ON SPECIFIC ARRIVAL TIME. The pet owner is responsible for an immediate presence during the ENTIRE TIME SLOT. In case of a no-show upon Shuttle arrival, shuttle fee and waiting charges are nonrefundable. A checked-out pet will be transported back to the palace, and the following additional charges apply to the shuttle service back to the palace, and the late checkout. The pet owner is responsible for the check-out in Chevrier following a no-show. Best Friends Palace does not GUARANTEE EXACT ARRIVAL TIME, shall not be liable for delays due to often unexpected traffic jams in Geneva and multiple destination arrangements, please allow our drivers some buffer time. An additional charge of CHF/EUR 1 per minute applies in case of waiting, the maximum waiting time is 5 minutes. The pet owner is responsible for loading and unloading the pet in the transportation box to ensure safety. If a pet is transported to or from Best Friends Palace by staff, the pet owner holds Best Friends Palace harmless in the event of injury or accident during transportation. Best Friends Palace accepts check-in/out by the pet owner or the written emergency contact only. Any special agreement by oral or writing will automatically end at the expiry of the stay. Best Friends Palace reserves the right to take pictures of pets for its website, advertising, and social media. If a pet is not collected 7 open days after the reserved check-out day, without any notification from the pet owner, the pet is considered abandoned, a legal proceeding will begin. Except already confirmed reservation, Best Friends Palace reserves the right to modify services and prices anytime without prior notice. Data and Privacy Best Friends Palace complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016, regarding the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of personal data and the free movement of these data.
